To remove their spouse or partner, navigate to https://estate.ethos.com/login.
- Under “completed documents” select “Trust and Last Will”, or, navigate to the "Documents" section and choose the edit icon on the “Revocable living trust” or the “Last will and testament”. The client will navigate to the “Basics” section.
- From there, the client will have to “Continue” until they see “Are you married or in a registered domestic partnership?” they’ll have to switch their answer from “YES” to “NO”
- Next they’ll have to “Continue” on all questions to confirm their answers until the “Basics” section is fully complete.
- They’ll reach a confirmation screen stating their documents are ready. There is a button to navigate back to documents “Go to your documents.”
- The updated trust and last will be available to download.
