What happens to my passkey if my device is stolen?
Immediately go to Settings → Account Settings from another device and remove the stolen device's passkey. If you can't log in, contact support at 415-797-0864 (Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM) to have it removed.
Can someone else use my passkey on my device?
No. A passkey requires your specific biometric or PIN to work. Someone else can't use your passkey unless they can pass your device's authentication.
Is my passkey tied to my Ethos account or my device?
Both. The passkey is created on your device and linked to your Ethos account. It only works when your device confirms it's you.
What happens to my passkey if I reset my device?
If it was synced via Google or iCloud, it's still available after the reset. If it were device-bound, the passkey is deleted — you'll need to set up a new one from Settings after logging in via OTP.
